A chill wind, much like what presides snow, swirls around you. Gasping, you look up at a shining white stallion. His ears twitch in supressed humor.
"Stranger, you look cold. May I suggest a scarf? Or even a cloak." The stallion recites in a monotone voice. "Unfortunately though, there isn't any around here, but I'm sure you can place an order for one with the closest duty free shop via a listening stone."
Reminding yourself that standing there with your mouth wide open wasn't the best impression, you snap it shut. Straightening slightly, you give the white unicorn your best 'look'. Learned from watching those mini Crystals mares. The look isn't lost on him however, and he gives you a grin as white as his coat. "The name's Zteky'lyiah, Snow Lord." As you think of a snappy comeback, a tsk-tsk-tsk sound reaches your ears.
"For shame! Zteky'lyiah! Teasing our visitor like that," A fuzzy mare scolds. "I'm Quis'lo'chian. But you may call me Chi." She says politely.
"Unlike him over there," She motions towards the white stallion, "I'm a Painted Crystal Unicorn. Born of magic from a Painted Unicorn and a Crystal Unicorn." Chi grins. "And first born of the mare Filanna'riv. I got both her coloring and fuzz. My full sibling Neiisen'May lives with the Painted Unicorns."
Two more wintry unicorns have joined as Quis'lo'chian tells about her sister. The stallion is sturdly built and has an air of calm reflectiveness. The mare is fuzzy, like Quis'lo'chian, but thing time of white, black and greys.
"I do get to see her quite often," Chi continues, "we tend to meet around the Wishing Stone most of the time. It's the best landmark around here." She smiles at the stallion and mare. "In fact, that's where we spotted these two wandering about when they first arrived at this realm. I think they took a wrong turn. Or two."
The stallion flattens his ears and rolls his eyes. "You'd take a wrong turn as well considering the state of some of the markers out there. At one point we ended up in the drigetti territory- until one of them kindly pointed us in the correct direction of the meadow."
The other fuzzy mare chuckles warmly. "I think we suprised them since they weren't used to seeing unicorns up in their hills."
She bows. "I'm Halti'nenan, and he's Zteky'fayth. You may have met my father already. He's the fuzzy mini, Cres'donna. Father's really proud of the fact I'm so much bigger than he is." Halti'nenan looks amused.
